I found both Alan and Cherith Newell extremely helpful with my experience in buying a house. Nothing was too much trouble and replies to questions and call backs were very swift. Alan has a wealth of knowledge and didnt mind going through my long list of questions as well as explaining why certain things worked in such a way legally or what to do about aspects of a survey. All of which were so helpful and made sure I was on top of things to secure the house I wanted. Cherith was great, so friendly and informative and open to all questions even about tiny details. She thought of important aspects of a house that I would never even have considered. She found a way to work around my hectic schedule to still chat in person and over the phone. Overall, a great experience from a lovely family run business. Now happily in my first home. Would definitely recommend!

Worst estate agent I've ever rented off. Didn't fix any problems I mentioned at the start of the year, nor throughout as reminded about them. Refused to give me back my deposit at the end of my tennancy, blaming me for these existing faults (and very rude about it too). If i could give a negative rating I would.
Simply outstanding. Went the extra mile and beyond. Attentive, responsive and organised repair work, surveys and called on site not only with prospective purchasers but with builders etc. I was selling quite an old cottage and i would have really struggled without Newell supporting the sale. With Alan Newell you get experience and not some youngster working in a big Agency. Have no hesitation using this firm. You wont be disappointed. 7 stars.
